One month before the day of the concert, the tickets were already sold-out ranging from the lowest P1,000 and P10,000 as the most expensive one. This is for the concert of the Korean singing group, Super Junior.
Almost all fans are female teenagers of the boy band who came into fame in 2006 through the song “U” until they became a hit in YouTube.
The fans were eager for the 10 male teenagers in their songs like “Sorry, Sorry” and “Supergirl”.
Happee Sy, promoter of Pulp Productions who brought in the concert said: “They can sing, dance and they host. They’re VJs.”
The people who watched weren’t disappointed. The opening number they were waiting for was extravagant.
The stage rotates, the singers fly, there blast confetti, there are fireworks, a huge monitor and laser lights.
Araneta Coliseum became one large stage wherein Super Junior’s serenade could come close to their admirers.
The audience sang along even with the Korean lyrics.
There were also two Pinoys who were able to perform with the famous K-Pop group.
One was model, Robby Mananquil who was on base guitar, and also Melvin Macatiag who was on drums.
Even in the third “Super Show in the Philippines*, Super Junior still remains strong and promises to come back again as long as their Pinoy fans still ask for them.
*Note: Yeah… they made a mistake here. Even if it’s SS3, this is just the second time for them to come here. Philippines was not part of the first Super Show.
